Be More Successful By Aligning To Your Wealth DNA Profile

Are you finding that in spite of all the success seminars and goal setting that you are just not reaching the level of success you desire?

Is the road to riches proving to be much harder going than you ever imagined?

Maybe you are aiming for the wrong thing, or going about it the wrong way. If you are struggling to make progress, it is likely a sign that you are not operating in accordance with your wealth DNA.

Your wealth DNA is a mixture of your natural skills, your personality type, the way you tackle a problem and the way you relate to people. If you are a naturally systematic type of person, yet you have chosen a business or career path that relies heavily on gaining the co-operation of others – you may have picked the wrong path. Alternatively, you may be doing the wrong role in the pursuit of that goal.

A new section on LifeSuccessHabits.com looks at your Wealth Profile. It outlines how each of us is coded with a particular wealth DNA. By aligning your road to your dreams with your wealth DNA you are opening the right channels of energy to work with you, instead of against you.

Choosing Your Words To Fit The Goal

When things get really tough it is easy to slip into the negative zone that we all experience from time to time. With the global economic situation declaring that things will be a little different for the
next few years we can start managing the situation right now. And the first thing to do is to start rephrasing your words into positive rather than negative perspectives.

For instance, I could have written the above sentence as “with the global economic crisis declaring that we are heading for a depression that will last more than 3 years“. You get my drift. It’s not an attempt to ignore what reality we are dealing with, but choosing to send the signals to our brain in positive terms. We may need to make adjustments in the next few years – sure, I can cope with that. But I wouldn’t cope anywhere near as well if I continue to listen to every media event spelling out doom, crisis, depression, recession etc.

If you have to tighten things economically, think in terms of managing credit, rather than managing debt.

It may be a small thing to do, but the impact can be significant. Try it for a few days. It can be quite revealing as to how often you phrase sentences in negative terms instead of chosing a more positive spin.

After all, one of your goals is ‘happiness’ right? So choose words that support your goals.

Let me know how you get on!!

Our Greatest Fear

Often we believe we fear failure, when in reality we fear success. This poem by Marianne Williamson from her book A Return to Love was worth sharing:

Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate,
but that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, handsome, talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us.
It is not just in some; it is in everyone.

And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.

So just why is it that other people make us feel unacceptable for succeeding – and we join in by responding in kind.

How To Custom Design Your Habits

I am sure you have heard the saying “Old habits die hard” – but fortunately with the right effort, they do die. Most people trying to change a habit attempt to go at is hard and fast and burn out their efforts in the first 10 to 14 days.

The only way to kill a habit that has taken a lifetime to build, is to spend a lifetime killing it. Now this may seem a bit strange to you – but consider this. If you tell yourself you are going on a diet – guess what you end up thinking about every waking hour. Tell yourself you are going to improve your nutrition so that by nourishing your body it will better serve you, longer [and look better] – and the only time you think of it is when you are faced with a food choice. The difference is amazing…and you end up losing weight.

By thinking in lifetime terms, your investment starts smaller, but lasts longer. Its like investing in slower return blue chip stocks, instead of the high return ones that crash within 3 years.

You need to give your brain time to accustom to the changes in your thinking, and in your body. Choosing the right conscious path triggers the right subconscious feelings, emotions and eventually habits. This is the key to self mastery in every aspect of your life.

You need to become aware of what thoughts and messages you send to yourself trigger the right and wrong behaviours

Now frame your goals in terms of those messages that prompt the behaviour you want. Since this is different for each of us, you will need to work this out for yourself. For those wanting to lose weight – the wrong trigger is ‘going on a diet’. The right trigger may be improving your nutrition, nourishing your body, creating great skin, getting fit…whatever resonates for you.

Wants – Good or Evil – It’s Your Choice

Wants both drive the world and destroy the world.

Every biologic element has wants. All molecules want to move. Wants are an untamed driver of every living being. However, energy without direction, without purpose is either destructive or wasted.

Of the three keys to success [ability, energy, direction], direction is the most important. Both ability and energy can be purchased.

Want without purpose, without direction, destroys an individual. Those who cannot master their wants are loose cannons – they ruin lives, ruin societies, ruin companies. The victor is always the individual who has direction.

The Quick Secret To Success

By now most of us have read ‘The Secret’ or the originating book ‘The Science of Getting Rich’. It is easy to read something inspirational such as The Secret,  practice the teachings for a couple of weeks, then leave it behind you……and then wonder why your life is just the same!

If this sounds like you, perhaps the quick takeaway notes below that I made of The Secret may provide you with a quick cheat sheet to prompt you:

ASK > BELIEVE > RECEIVE > THANK

ASK ONLY once, then trust it is coming. Start seeking your ‘request’ acting as if it is already in existence.

VISUALISE – Really feel the reality of your ideal through visualisation. Visualise living your ideal every day. When you have an inspired thought – trust it, act on it.

FOCUS – Deal with doubts by dismissing them – then say to yourself “ I know I am receiving now”. Focus on abundant wealth – NEVER SAY “I Can’t Afford It” – instead, focus on having more than enough. Don’t let others talk about their ills or problems to you – Change the subject.Say to yourself – “Money Comes Easily and Frequently”.

ASK FOR HAPPINESS FIRST – THEN MANIFESTATIONS

BE & FEEL HAPPY NOW!

PURPOSE – Your purpose in life is the one you write for yourself.

ACTIONS

  1. Start every day with 100 thank you’s…..”I am so happy and grateful now that _________________”.
  2. Do daily visualisation with movement.
  3. Other affirmations:

“I have more than enough”

“Money loves me and I love it, so it comes to me easily”

“I think perfect thoughts, I see only perfection. I am perfection”

“I feel wonderful, I feel good”

Make Now Your Finest Hour

How you define yourself has a lot to do with your future. Your reality is what you create right now.

We all have challenges, every day. Big challenges are there to strengthen you. How you react to those challenges is how you define yourself. The decisions you make at those tough times in your life help shape your future.

Dont look at what is in front of you, look to where you want to be in the future. This helps to change your focus from what you are going through, to what you are going to.

Make this very moment, your finest hour….remember, you will never have this hour again. If you normally react to the challenge you have right this hour in a non-productive way, then this is your biggest chance in your life so far to change that.

It doesn’t matter what you have or have not done in the past, or what mistakes have brought grief into your life in the past….you can change it all now with one moment in time. By making a better decision you, you forever change the path of your life, if for no other reason as you will now have a new opinion of yourself. And that new truth about yourself will propel you into new habits, that will continue to strengthen everytime you make this new better choice – until it becomes your new habit, your new way of acting, your new and more successful you.

Success in the New Year

Well, I guess its no surprise that I would start the year with a blog about goal setting – but rather than delve back into the old basics of setting goals, action plans etc, I thought I would provide you with a few fresh ideas:

Go electronic with your goals board – On New Years Eve day I quietly sipped a few glasses of champagne whilst I searched the net for images that represented things I wished to achieve. After saving these images to my computer, I built them into a collage using Photoshop. With a single click of the mouse, i now have my goals clearly displayed on my desktop.

Do your goals backwards – this idea is attributed to an email I received from Peter Conti. I liked it so much I thought I would pass it on. The idea is that instead of mentally seeing and/or writing your goals in the future or present tense, write them in past tense, as though you have already achieved them. This synchs in with the sense of gratitude taught by The Secret, and outlined in the ‘Your Right To Wealth’ series on our website.

Operationalize Your Goals – this is not new, but an essential item to be included. Setting goals is an important activity to keep your life on track, but unless you translate your goals into operable actions, they stay firmly as goals and not achievements. So make sure for every goal you ask yourself [ keep this in the past tense also]:

  • What steps did I take to achieve this goal
  • What resources did I need
  • What did I need to be to make this goal happen

Womens Success Finding THE Man

It seems women not having success in finding the right man may be looking in all the wrong places. In a book by Steve Santagati, he cites research showed that the top five cities with the best prospects of finding eligible life partners are:

  1. San Jose
  2. Salt Lake City, Utah
  3. Arlington, Texas
  4. Rawleigh, NC
  5. San Francisco, CA.

And forget clubs and gyms. Instead try the local Farmers Market.

Women need to be more assertive in finding their mates. They should treat every daily event as a potential opportunity and resist the temptation to run down to the local store to buy a paper dressed in sloppy clothes and no make-up. That doesn’t mean a full beauty make-over and courtier fashion either. But replace those sloppy joes for a nice pair of jeans, a cute teeshirt and a bit of lip gloss. It makes a big difference between being noticed or not. And don’t wait for him to make the first move. Be proactive, make a passing comment in a teasing style, or make momentary eye contact. He will love you for it. “It’s not game playing, its street smarts” says Steve, in an interview with Oprah. If he is interested he will make the next move, if not, you have nothing to lose.

And you will know when you have found the right one, you will have an overwhelming sense of being drawn into something bigger than yourself and want to stay there. Even women that claim they don’t have time for a man, find the time when the man is the right one!
